Our best meal by far, in terms of food and character was at Restaurant Taberna Tipica Quarta-Feira in Evora, Portugal. There's no menu, instead the owner and chef Ze cooks one meal each evening and he and his son serve it with such hospitality that they make you feel as if you were family.
